One of the reasons addictions are hard to kick is because they are not only biological, but behavioral illnesses, i.e. really bad habits. Smoking a cigarette or having a beer everyday after work is a behavior that must be replaced with some other activity if you are going to achieve mental, emotional and physical wellbeing in your life.
